SSLC timetable announced

The examinations are to be held from March 21 to April 4

The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has announced its final timetable for the 2019 Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations. The dates have been set earlier than usual owing to the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The examinations are to be held from March 21 to April 4.

Teachers registration

All the teachers evaluating the SSLC exams will have to register online on the KSEEB website. The board has decided to digitise this step to get faster information from schools. “After the heads of the school fill in the details of the teachers, a software will categorise teachers as assistant evaluators, deputy chief, and joint chief, based on their seniority.

“Every year, there has been confusion regarding this process, and we have decided to simplify it,” said V. Sumangala, Director of KSEEB. Around 74,000 teachers from 14,576 government, aided, and unaided schools are enlisted for evaluation. The Department of Pre-University Education is yet to announce the II PU final timetable.
