Spectator gored to death at Hori Habba

A spectator was gored to death by a bull at the Hori Habba, the bull-catching event held at Tadasanahalli village in Shikaripur taluk on Wednesday.

The victim has been identified as Nagaraj, 27, a resident of Malavalli village. He had come to Tadasanahalli with his friends to see the event. When the bull was released into the ring, it ran straight into the group of spectators and attacked Nagaraj, who died on the spot. Following the incident, Shiralakoppa police have suspended the event.
