Some trains under Southern Railways cancelled due to blockade in Rajasthan

The blockade of Railway tracks by Gujjars in Kota Division of West Central Railway in Rajasthan has affected movement of trains to the southern parts of the country. Several trains have either been cancelled or rescheduled, said a release from Southern Railways here.

Cancelled

Train No. 12217 Kochuveli – Chandigarh Sampark Kranthi Express, scheduled to leave Kochuveli at 9.20 am on May 25; Train No. 12288 Dehradun - Kochuveli Express, scheduled to leave Dehradun at 5.50 am on May 25; Train No. 22654 Nizamuddin – Thiruvananthapuram Express scheduled to leave Nizamuddin at 10.05 am on May 25 and Train No. 12283 Ernakulam – Nizamuddin Duronto Express scheduled to leave Ernakulam Jn on May 26.

Train No. 12432 Nizamuddin – Ernakulam Rajdhani Express, which left Nizamuddin on May 24 has been diverted via Bhopal Jn., Khandwa and Kalyan Jn. Train No. 10216 Ernakulam – Madgaon Express scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction at 1.55 p.m. on May 25 has been rescheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction only at 9.30 p.m. on the same day due to the late running of its pairing train.
