Four persons were injured in a minor group clash in Kodi village near Kundapur on Sunday evening. However, the situation was peaceful on Monday.
According to K. Annamalai, Superintendent of Police, a dispute between two persons belonging to two communities turned into a group clash. The police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control in the night.
Two each from two communities were injured and were admitted to a government hospital and a private hospital in Kundapur.
Two units of District Armed Reserve Police were pressed into service.
“The situation is peaceful there and we are keeping a vigil in the area,” Mr. Annamalai said.
