Rape remark
Commenting on the shocking response on rape cases by Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council K.S. Eshwarappa, Mr. Basavaraj said the statements showed the culture of the BJP and their respect for women. In the past also some BJP leaders were caught red-handed by the media watching some vulgar videos. There were many instances wherein the BJP leaders were caught misbehaving with women during the BJP rule in the State, he alleged.
Mr. Basavaraj demanded legal action against Mr. Eshwarappa for issuing such irresponsible statements and sought a public apology from him.
