Coming down on Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa over the illegal mining issue, Leader of Opposition in State Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah on Monday claimed he would be in the dock once the second Lokayuta report on illegal mining is out.

Speaking to reporters here, he charged some BJP members with lobbying for Mr. Yeddyurappa, which he said “is a shame on the part of the party”.

He urged Lokayukta Santosh Hegde to issue suo moto notice to the Chief Minister in the wake of some of his party workers allegedly trying to influence the Lokayukta against indicting Mr. Yeddyurappa in the report on illegal mining.
