January 27, 2018 06:07 pm | Updated 06:07 pm IST - Tumakuru

Seer of Siddaganga Mutt Shivakumara Swami arrived at the mutt in Tumakuru at 4.15 p.m. on Saturday.

Thousands of children of the mutt who had gathered to see him clapped their hands with joy after seeing him getting out of the vehicle.

The seer refused to use a wheel-chair and preferred to walk to his room in the old mutt on the premises.

Shivakumara Swami was suffering from pneumonia and gallbladder stent block and was admitted to BGS Hospital in Bengaluru on Friday. A stent was inserted to remove the blockage in the bile duct on Saturday. He was then discharged.
