Shah to visit Sindhanur, Hosapete on Thursday

Amid political controversy marked by the release of audio clips, BJP national president Amit Shah is visiting Karnataka on Thursday to galvanise the party cadre ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

According to a release from the BJP, Mr. Shah will visit Sindhanur in Raichur district on Thursday evening to address a meeting of shakti kendras (cluster of booth-level committees). Later, he would address a meeting of intellectuals in Hosapete.

Mr. Shah will spend the night in Hosapete and leave for Odisha from there on Friday. Mr. Shah will again visit Karnataka on February 21 to address a convention in Chickballapur.
