Rituparna, a student of Karnataka Law Society’s English Medium School at Tilakwadi here, is among those who has scored 622 out 625 marks in the SSLC examination, scoring 100 per cent in mathematics, science and Hindi.

Eldest of the two daughters of Veena and Bhanaji Rao Deshmukh, both assistant professors in the city, she has been studious and punctual in her studies. She attributed the success to her parents and teachers, whose guidance helped her.

As she wants to be an engineer in electronics and communications, she has decided to pursue science and start preparing for the Common Entrance Test from now.
