Rayaraddi has a narrow escape

Basavaraj Rayaraddi, Yelburga MLA and former Minister, had a narrow escape after a lorry rammed his sports utility vehicle (SUV) from behind.

The incident occurred on NH 50 near Munirabad on Monday evening.

According to information reaching here, Mr. Rayaraddi was heading towards Bengaluru. Annoyed on seeing the driver of a mini luggage vehicle driving rashly, he parked his car by the side to take the driver to task.

Meanwhile, a lorry rammed his vehicle from behind.

Mr. Rayaraddi is said to have suffered minor scratches.

After getting first aid at a private hospital at Hosapete, he left to Bengaluru, the police said. The Munirabad police have registered a case.
