Rapport with Deve Gowda good, says Yediyurappa

November 07, 2019 11:23 pm | Updated 11:23 pm IST - HAVERI

Declining to comment on whether he had a telephonic conversation with JD(S) national president H.D. Deve Gowda, Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa on Thursday said the rapport between him and the former was “good” and that was all he could say before the media.

Mr. Yediyurappa told presspersons at a helipad in Haveri that he would not like to discuss certain issues with the media and would speak about it openly at “an appropriate time”.

On the former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s comment that the recent video of Mr. Yediyurappa was the handiwork of BJP leaders, he sarcastically said he would appreciate the concern Mr. Siddaramaiah had towards him.
