Ragi burnt into ash in fire mishap

As many as three ragi barns were burnt causing loss of Rs. 65,000 to a farmer at Melanur village under Dinnahalli gram panchayat limits in Malur taluk.

According to a complaint filed with the Masti police, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon.

Manjula had harvested the ragi crop cultivated on one acre land and stored it for thrashing. She was expecting 25 bags of ragi worth Rs. 65,000 from it. The Masti police have registered a case.
