Karnataka State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president and Lok Sabha member Prahlad Joshi criticised the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for his remarks on BJP’s national president Amit Shah recently.
Speaking at a function organised by the party’s Yuva Morcha to celebrate the 152nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda here on Tuesday afternoon, he said the Congress leaders in the state had lost their senses when they said Mr. Shah was absolved in a fake encounter case with the blessings of the Central Bureau of Investigation. He said Mr. Shah was got justice from a court of law not by CBI.
As far functioning and performance of the Congress government under Mr. Siddaramaiah’s leadership in the state was concerned, the opposition parties need not show the mirror. Their own party’s former member and presently Speaker, Kagodu Timmappa’s remarks were sufficient enough to make some introspection, Mr. Joshi said.
Yuva Morcha national president Anurag Thakur, M.P. Suresh C. Angadi, M.P., Sanjay B. Patil, MLA, Abhay B. Patil, Ex-MLA, state yuva morcha vice president Raju Chikangouudar, national executive committee member Deepak Jamkhandi and senior leaders of the party from the district were present.
