Police permission a must for protests

In view of the monsoon session of the State legislature at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha here from June 29, Police Commissioner S. Ravi has asked organisations intending to organise protests or present memorandum to the government, to obtain permission from his office. A separate cell has been opened at the police commissionerate for the purpose. Permission would be accorded on first come, first served basis and the maximum number of permissions for public protests and demonstrations would be restricted to five. Call 9480804105.
