Camps across Kodagu are facing a flood of another kind: relief materials that cannot be stored but continue to pour in from across the State. Despite appeals by coordinators, vehicles carrying perishable commodities continue to arrive regularly.

Some organisations have established an ad-hoc ‘collection centre’ at Kushalnagar where items are stored and then transported to other areas where there is a demand for it.
