Bhavani Revanna, a member of the Hassan Zilla Panchayat and wife of Public Works Minister H.D. Revanna, was seen travelling in a government vehicle in Hassan and Chikkamagaluru on Saturday.
This was the same vehicle their son, Prajwal Revanna, was seen using in Hassan on January 29, attracting a controversy.
The vehicle, bearing the registration number KA 01 GA 8009, is registered in the name of Executive Engineer, National Highways, as per details in the Road Transport Department website.
Ms. Bhavani Revanna attended the inauguration of a health check-up camp in Hassan on Saturday and later attended a private programme in Chikkamagaluru.
In both the places, she was seen travelling in the same vehicle.
Last month when Mr. Prajwal Revanna was seen using the car, Mr. Revanna had maintained that an engineer with the Public Works Department had offered his car when Mr. Prajwal’s vehicle developed a technical snag while he was approaching Hassan. Mr. Revanna had also said that his son had his personal vehicle and he need not use a government vehicle.
