Ramesh Jigajinagi, MP, has said that the Union government has agreed to build a rail overbridge at Ibrahimpur railway crossing on cost-sharing basis.

He told presspersons here recently that the project cost was estimated at Rs. 22 crore, 50 per cent each of which would be shared by the Railway Ministry and the State government.

He said he had sought a grant of Rs. 250 crore for laying new electricity lines in the district under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana.

On the pending demand for shifting the goods shed from Gol Gumbaz back to the outskirts of the city, he said that a Rs. 8-crore proposal had been submitted to shift it to Aliabad village.
