New KSRTC bus services

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is introducing new services between Bangalore and Salem, Coimbatore, Mahe and Tirunallar.

The Bangalore–Salem Karnataka Vaibhava service leaves Bangalore at noon to reach Salem at 5.30 p.m. In the return journey, it leaves Salem at 11.30 p.m. to reach Bangalore at 4.30 a.m.

Another Vaibhava service leaves Bangalore at 3 p.m. to reach Salem at 8.30 p.m. The return trip starts at 11.55 p.m. to reach Bangalore at 4.55 a.m. The fare for an adult passenger is Rs. 170 for the day service and Rs. 190 for the night service. These services have commenced operations. An Airavat service to Coimbatore will start on February 20. It leaves Bangalore at 1 p.m. to reach Coimbatore at 9.15 p.m. From Coimbatore, the bus leaves at 2 p.m. to reach Bangalore at 9.15 p.m. The fare is Rs. 440. A Rajahamsa service will be introduced to Mahe on February 27. The bus leaves Bangalore at 8.30 p.m. to reach Mahe at 5.45 a.m. It leaves Mahe at 8.15 p.m. to reach Bangalore at 4.30 a.m. The fare is Rs. 330. An Airavat service will commence operations on February 27 to Tirunallar. It leaves Bangalore at 9.45 p.m. to reach destination at 7.15 a.m. It leaves Tirunallar at 8 p.m. to reach Bangalore at 5.45 a.m. The fare is Rs. 565.
