Mysuru Warriors, the Karnataka Premier League (KPL) team owned by Mysuru-based NR Group, contributed Rs. 1 lakh towards providing treatment to children with cleft lip and palate.

The contribution was made to Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe, an international non-governmental organisation that offers comprehensive treatment to children with cleft lip and palate across Mysuru, on Tuesday.

“The funds will help Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe to ensure corrective surgery for seven cleft lip and palate affected children in the city,” said a statement issued by the Mysuru Warriors. Arjun Ranga and Pavan Ranga, co-owners of Mysuru Warriors, presented the contribution to Mr. Dushyant, Regional Head, Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe.

Identifying cleft lip among one of the most neglected conditions, the Mysuru Warriors, in a statement, said the deformity causes tremendous emotional suffering calling for immediate attention and action.
