The Sakleshpur police, in a late night raid at Biradahalli, arrested nine persons including brother of Bharatiya Janata Party MP, Pratap Simha, on charges of gambling.
Vikram Simha, brother of Mysore MP Pratap Simha, was among those arrested by a team, led by Sakleshpur Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sneha.
Superintendent of Police Raman Gupta told The Hindu on Friday night that Vikram Simha and the others were arrested in the raid. The police seized Rs. 14,000 in cash from the arrested persons. The Sakleshpur police have booked a case.
