Continuing his tirade against BJP State president B.S. Yeddyurappa, disgruntled MLC, M.B. Bhanuprakash, said that relieving him from party responsibilities or lodging a complaint about the old guards’ convention held in Bengaluru on April 27 would not resolve the internal crisis. Speaking to presspersons here on Monday, he said said employing intimidating tactics against leaders who have raised their voice against the unilateral manner in which the party State unit was being allegedly run would aggravate the crisis. The prevailing confusion can be resolved only through talks, he said. Expressing displeasure over the manner in which he was removed from the post of party vice-president, he said the decision was taken without seeking his explanation by issuing notice. Proper information had not been given on reasons behind the decision, he said.
Meanwhile, stating that BJP’s national joint general secretary B.L. Santhosh had been working for the party with no personal ambitions, State general secretary C.T. Ravi said that allegations against him were uncalled for.
