Shivamurthy Muruga Sharana of Bruhanmath, Chitradurga, has announced the names of those chosen for Jayadevashri, Shoonyapeeta Allama, Shoonyapeeta Chennabasava and Shoonyapeeta Akkanagamma awards that will be presented on the 58th memorial programme of late Jayadeva Murugarajendra Swami and Sharana Samskruthi Utsav scheduled from January 30 here.
The swami told presspersons here on Friday that the former Union Minister and senior Congress leader M.V. Rajasekharan would be honoured with Jayadevashri Award in recognition of his services to politics, and VRL Logistics Ltd. chairman Vijay Sankeshwar would be presented Shoonyapeeta Allama Award for his achievement in the transport sector.
Tejaswini Ananthkumar, wife of Union Minister Ananthkumar has been chosen for Shoonyapeeta Akkanagamma award and communist leader H.K. Ramachandrappa has been selected for Shoonyapeeta Chennabasava award.
