MLC, V.S. Ugrappa alleged that the Modi Government is misusing CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation).

Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, Mr. Ugrappa alleged that the people of the nation know how the Union government has misused CBI in Amit Shah’s case who is the National President of Bharatiya Janata Party, former minister, Janardhana Reddy’s bail case and State president of BJP, Prahlad Joshi’s brother’s case.

Mr. Ugrappa alleged that if investigation into the land denotification is conducted during the period 2006-2012, all the three Chief Ministers of the BJP government in the state will go to jail.

He alleged that when Jagadish Shettar was the Chief Minister, the government purchased a site with an area of 28,000 sq.feet in Gandhinagar in Bengaluru which was the disputed property of Murugamutt by paying Rs. 64 crore. But even today the site has not been possessed by the government as the matter is in the court.

The CAG has said that denotification done in 21 cases were not correct and were done by violating the rules during 2006-2012.
