MLA criticises officials

June 21, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:41 am IST - BELAGAVI:

Sambhaji L. Patil, MLA, criticised the officials of the Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) and alleged them of showing bias against implementing pro-people resolutions. He said the matter was brought to the notice of Commissioner M.R. Ravi Kumar at the last council meeting in May. Yet there was no information on how many of the resolutions were implemented. Leader of the ruling group Pandhari Parab pointed out that only five of the 81 resolutions adopted by the present council were implemented so far.

Mr. Ravi Kumar, however, said an “Action Taken Report” was ready, which he wished to place before the MLAs and floor leaders in the presence of Mayor Kiran K. Saynak later.
