‘Minister responsible for II PU results fiasco’

May 23, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:48 am IST - HUBBALLI:

The alleged discrepancies in the II PU results are the best example of the administrative failure in the State, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Jagadish Shettar has said.

He told presspersons here on Friday that Minister of State for Secondary Education Kimmane Ratnakar was responsible for the confusion that left the students and parents in the lurch. It was a pity that both Mr. Ratnakar and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had not yet responded to the issue.

To add to the woes of the students and parents, the government had fixed exorbitant prices for re-evaluation, re-totalling and for photo copies of the answer sheets. The government should provide all these services for free and complete the re-evaluation at the earliest to ensure that the future of the students was not hampered.
