March for ‘real democracy’ in Bangalore

Several likeminded political parties, striving to bring in clean democracy, will hold a ‘padayatra for real democracy’ in Bangalore on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2). Speaking to presspersons here, Janata Dal (United) State president M.P. Nadagouda said a meeting of likeminded people held on September 14, in which freedom fighter H.S. Doreswamy participated, had decided to continue to the struggle to achieve clean democracy. The padayatra is a part of the agitation, he said.

The yatra will start at 9.30 a.m. from Mahatma Gandhi Road and the organisers have urged the people to join the yatra.
