Man surrenders after murdering wife

A man allegedly slit his wife’s throat suspecting her fidelity and later surrendered before the police personnel in K.R. Pet in the district on Wednesday morning.

The accused, Karoti Jayaramu (50), is an employee of a private firm in Saudi Arabia. He killed his wife Sharadamma (42) at his residence at Hemavathi Layout, walked into police station and admitted to the killing, K.R. Pet Town police said.

According to the police, the accused slit his wife’s throat with a knife while she was asleep.

The police have seized the knife and questioning the accused.

A case has been registered.
