A person, who was working as a cashier in a bar in Hassan, was found dead at his residence in K.R. Puram here on Monday.
The deceased, who has been identified as Jayaram (44), was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence.
Hassan Extension police, who registered the case, said that during preliminary inquiry, a death note, reportedly written by the deceased, was found. In the death note, names of six persons, including Krishne Gowda, Yogish, Shashi and others, working in a bar, had been mentioned as responsible for him taking the extreme step. It had been stated in the death note that the deceased was being tortured over money matters for several months. He had attempted to commit suicide last year too.
