Banavasi PSI Yashavant Bisanalli and his team have arrested Dharmaraja Tippanna Korachar of Chikka Abbigere in Davanagere distict and his associates Manjunath Nagappa Korachar of Ramapur in Sirsi taluk and Umesh Bhutappa Korachar of Ganjigere in Hosadurga taluk in connection with burglary cases under the Banavasi police station range a few days ago. They have been handed over to judicial custody.
To boost tourism potential in Uttara Kannada district, the Union government has given the green signal to launch ‘The Great Kanara Trail Project’, said Kanara MP Anantkumar Hegde in a release on Tuesday. The project includes environmental tourism that introduces tourism spots of the district to international tourists and so on. There are ample employment opportunities for the youths of the district, he said.
