The curtain-raiser of ‘Invest Karnataka 2016’ will be held on Wednesday and the logo of the event will be unveiled.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the curtain-raiser event and unveil the logo and launch the website of ‘Invest Karnataka’. Minister for Industries R.V. Deshpande will preside over the programme. ‘Invest Karnataka 2016’ will be held from February 3 to 5 to attract investments in various sectors, a press release said. The interactive website explains the aims of ‘Invest Karnataka’ and all the efforts that are being made to “enable ease of doing business in Karnataka”, it said.
The Congress government’s first investment meet scheduled to be held here from November 23 to 25 was postponed owing to severe drought across the State.
