Leopard kills horse in Hampi

In a shocking incident, a leopard killed a horse near Sri Vijaya Vitthala Temple in Hampi on Thursday.

As per local people, the horse, which was roaming near the temple as usual, died on the spot after the predator caught it by the neck.

The Vijaya Vitthala Temple premises in the UNESCO World Heritage Site is believed to be a safe place that attracts thousands of tourists every day.
