Landslip: Train service cancelled

Railway officials cancelled the Londa-Nizamuddin Goa Express train following landslip near Doodh Sagar on the Karnataka-Goa border.

The landslip was noticedd on lines 37/800 – 900 at around noon. Passers-by informed officials in the Londa railway station who alerted higher officials. The Goa Express train (No. 12779) was cancelled for Tuesday. Officials hope to run trains on Wednesday if there are no further landslips.
