The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has decided to dissolve the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) as a part of its effort to restructure the State unit after the party's drubbing in the recent Lok Sabha election. The party managed to win just a single seat.

However, KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao and working president Eshwar Khandre will continue to hold the posts, said an AICC release on Wednesday.
