Karnatak College invites former students to reconnect

Karnatak College, Dharwad, (KCD) a premier educational institution of north Karnataka, will celebrate its centenary in 2017.

The college, established in 1917, played a key role in the development of higher education in this region. It has produced eminent personalities like judges T.K. Tukol, P.B. Gajendragadkar, and Wrangler D.C. Pavate, litterateurs V.K. Gokak, Girish Karnad, and Manohar Mulgaonkar; former Chief Minister of Goa Shashikala Kakodkar, IT giant Nandan Nilekani, and IAS officers Anil Gokak and S.M. Jamdar.

The Alumni Association of Karnatak College has decided to ensure that the centenary is celebrated in a meaningful way. As a first step, it has invited former students to register their names with the association. Association president Giraddi Govindraj has appealed to former students to send their details to Rajshekhar Jadar, secretary, Karnatak College Alumni Association, Srujana auditorium, Karnatak College campus, Dharwad-580001.
