The former Minister and BJP leader Govind Karjol has said that the achievements of Siddaramaiah-led government in the State were that it had handed out ‘Savu Bhagya’ to the farmers and ‘Kattale Bhagya’ to the State.
Taking a dig at what he termed as misrule of the Siddaramaiah-led government in the State, Mr. Karjol told presspersons that because of the infighting between Siddaramaiah and Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar, the State had plunged into darkness.
Listing out the achievements of the previous BJP-led government in the State, Mr. Karjol said that the Congress government had only given assurances to the poor and had hardly done anything for their welfare.
‘Utter chaos’
The former Minister said that because of the infighting in the Congress and high handedness of “corrupt” officials that the law and order situation in the State was in utter chaos.
Mr. Karjol said that when in power, the BJP had initiated several measures for the welfare of the SC/ST and other backward classes. But the Congress government had failed to even implement the already sanctioned projects.
