Nada-Lahari Trust, a non-profit civil society organisation headed by Prashant Kamalapurkar, has, in association with the family of late Advocate Venkatrao Deshpande, organised a concert by Kalapini Komkali, classical vocalist and daughter of Pandit Kumar Gandharva and Vidushi Vasundhara Komkali, icons of Hindustani classical music, at Rangamandir here on Sunday.
“Kalapini is popular amongst the youth for her lecture-demonstrations of Indian classical music,” Dr. Prashant Kamalapurkar, president of Nada-Lahari Trust, told The Hindu .
