Joint inspection layouts handed over to MCC

October 20, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:47 am IST - MYSURU:

The joint inspection of 66 residential layouts, including 62 private layouts, which were recently handed over by the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) to the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), was underway.

The Superintending Engineers of MCC and MUDA are carrying out a joint inspection of the layouts, said MUDA chairman K.R. Mohan Kumar.

After the 66 layouts, including four developed by the MUDA, were handed over to the MCC in July this year, the joint inspection of more than 30 layouts had been completed so far, he said.

He claimed that the MCC was satisfied with the completion of infrastructure works.

He said the MUDA would not allow private developers to hand over to it any layout with infrastructural shortcomings.
