JD(S) leaders have refuted the allegations that Congress workers in Holenarasipur constituency were being harassed by the JD(S) rule here.

JD(S) taluk president S. Dyave Gowad; Hassan District Cooperative Central Bank president Nagaraj; ZP member Hanumanthe Gowda; and APMC president Lakshman Gowda, at a press conference on Tuesday said leaders of both parties were working in harmony in the constituency.

Mr. Dyave Gowda said no case had been filed against Congress workers in Holenarasipur constituency. “The allegations made by Congress leader Bagur Manje Gowda are false. Whenever any incidents of differences between workers of two parties were reported, the leaders have resolved them amicably. Minister for Public Works H.D. Revanna has never allowed such issues to reach the police station,” he said.

HDCC Bank president Nagaraju said Congress leaders should keep aside differences and join hands with JD(S) leaders for the development of the district.
