JD(S) ready for a triangular fight, if need be, says Revanna

Training his guns on the Congress, Public Works Minister H.D. Revanna on Friday said the JD(S) was ready for a triangular fight in the Lok Sabha elections.

Mr. Revanna told reporters here on Friday that JD(S) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda and Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy would finalise the party candidates for all the constituencies.

“We are ready to face any situation, even a triangular fight,” he said.

‘Left to Deve Gowda’

He said the decision of who would contest from Hassan was left to Mr. Gowda. “We do not know whether Mr. Gowda will himself contest from there or field Prajwal (Mr. Revanna’s son) or leave the constituency to the Congress. Whoever he fields, we will ensure the candidate’s victory,” he said.
