K.C. Narayana Gowda, MLA and senior JD(S) leader, on Tuesday allegedly warned actors that measures would be initiated to investigate their assets if they disrespected the people.
Mr. Gowda expressed displeasure with actors Darshan Tugudeepa and Yash for their decision to campaign for Sumalatha.
Stating that the JD(S) is part of the coalition government in the State, Mr. Gowda said that if they [the actors] campaigned for Ms. Sumalatha against the former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda’s family, the government might begin an investigation pertaining to their assets.
