At a time when the coalition government is facing a major crisis with 12 MLAs tendering their resignation, Janata Dal(S) MLA from Nagathan constituency Devanand Chavan has accused another Janata Dal(S) legislator and district in-charge Minister M.C. Managuli of interfering in development works in his constituency.

Mr. Chavan said that the Minister is not allowing development works to be taken up in his constituency.

He, however, made it clear that despite his unhappiness with the Minister, he is with the Janata Dal(S).

He said that his loyalty to Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and the latter’s father H.D. Deve Gowda will not change as they have helped him make a political career.

“I am unhappy with the functioning of Mr. Managuli but it will not affect my loyalty to Mr. Kumaraswamy,” he said.
