The former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has lost his mental balance. He should be admitted to NIMHANS if the Congress-Janata Dal(S) coalition had to be saved in Karnataka, the former Minister and BJP leader Shobha Karandlaje said in Chikkodi on Sunday. She was responding to reports that Mr. Siddaramaiah had described Prime Minister as unworthy (”nalayak”) at a poll rally in Raibag town on Saturday. “It is Mr. Siddaramaiah who is ‘nalayak’. He has lost his mind. He has lost his mental balance. He should be admitted to NIMHANS if the Congress-Janata Dal(S) alliance is to be saved,” Ms. Karandlaje said. She said that Mr. Modi was the best Prime Minister that India had had till now. “But some people don’t see the good in others. They criticise for the sake of criticising. People like Mr. Siddaramaiah criticise Mr. Modi only because they have nothing else to do,” she said.
