A two-month-old baby was rescued in rain-ravaged Kodagu. A team of volunteers from General Thimayya National Academy Adventure and Army personnel carried the infant across the swollen stream in Thanthipala in Kodagu on Saturday.

The volunteers crossed the Hatthi Hole and reached the other bank using a zip-line crossing.

The infant apparently slept through the operation, according to sources.

Visuals of the rescue operation were shared on social media.
