I Monetary Advisory (IMA) Group founder and managing director Mohammed Mansoor Khan, who is accused of cheating investors of over ₹2,500 crore, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after he landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi from Dubai early Friday morning. The Special Investigation Team (SIT), set up by the State government said in a statement that it tracked Mr. Khan to Dubai after he fled the country on June 8. The SIT then persuaded him to return to India and submit himself before the law, said the statement. Mr. Khan boarded the Air India flight (AI 916) from Dubai on Thursday night, and landed in New Delhi at 1.50 a.m. on Friday where he was formally arrested by the ED. Mr. Khan had a Look Out Circular (LOC) against him issued by both, the SIT and ED. The police expect the ED to present Mr. Khan before a local court before bringing him to the city on Saturday.
