Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday reiterated his commitment to seeking an early resolution to the Mahadayi river water sharing issue and said that he would write to the new Government of Goa in this connection shortly.

Speaking to presspersons upon his arrival here, Mr. Siddaramaiah said that the State government had taken the Mahadayi river water sharing issue seriously. He said that earlier he had written to the then Goa Chief Minister Lakshmikant Parsekar.
