‘I love you CM!’

There was an undeniable election campaign feel to the tour. From Vidyaranyapura to Yelahanka, the convoy stopped at numerous places where the CM interacted with Congress workers who greeted him with firecrackers and banners. However, the most “love” came from a group of men standing outside a bar in Yelahanka. Mr. Siddaramaiah saluted the group that enthusiastically waved at him. Suddenly one man – visibly drunk – shouted at the top of his voice: “I love you” (In picture). The Chief Minister as well as former Union Minister M. Veerappa Moily were taken aback, but broke into a smile.
