Different abilities

“Just like a fish cannot climb a tree, every student has different abilities. And the need is to identify one’s strength and weaknesses and subsequently, plan accordingly so that one finds a better career option that suits one’s abilities and also passion,” Mr. Halagatti said.

He told parents to get themselves updated on the variety of new avenues available for their children and also about various competitive examinations that their children were required to appear to pursue different courses.

‘Enjoy studying’

Fun-filled interaction

Engaging students for close to two hours through fun-filled interaction and memory tests and memory techniques, Mr. Ameen-e-Mudassar explained to them why it was also important for them to spend time with family members and good friends.

Several students and parents who took part in the event thanked The Hindu for organising the event and guiding students at an important juncture in their education. A few students said that they now had learnt how to enjoy studies even during the exam stress.
