The district unit of Karnataka State Government Employees Association has organised a free heart and eye check-up camp at its convention hall here on Sunday, its president C.S. Shadakshari said here.
The camp would commence at 9 a.m. in which government employees and their family members could avail themselves of the benefits.
Facilities
Screening for diabetes, blood pressure, procedures like ECG and echo cardiogram would be performed at the camp, he said at a press conference here on Friday.
Lenses would be provided for free to those diagnosed with vision problems.

In addition, cardiologists would deliver talks on the kind of precautions that could be taken by the people to ensure healthy functioning of the heart and first aid to be administered to persons who suffer cardiac arrest, Mr. Shadakshari said.
