Four persons died and two others were severely injured when a multi-utility vehicle and a lorry collided on National Highway 13 near Amalapura in Kudligi taluk on Tuesday. The police said the passengers in the car were workers of NGO Vimarsha, who were heading towards Hosapete from Bengaluru.
The deceased have been identified as Manju (20), a driver from Koppal, Roopa (21) from Hosapete, Roopadevi (21) from Kanakagiri, and Basammanavar (25) from Gangavati in Koppal district. The Kana Hosahalli Police have registered a case.
