The four-wheeler by which H. Halappa, MLA, Sagar, was travelling.
H. Halappa, Sagar MLA, escaped with minor injuries after the car he was travelling in went off the road near Kaspadi village in Sagar taluk on Saturday.
The incident took place when Mr. Halappa was heading to Shivamogga from Sagar.
To avoid a collision with a tractor coming from the opposite direction, the driver suddenly braked. The car careened off the road. The driver also sustained minor injuries.
